Kia priced the 2026 K4 Hatchback EX at $24,990. That is the starting MSRP on Kia America’s official K4 Hatchback pricing release. Destination is $1,245 on the same sheet. Tax, title, license, and other retailer fees are extra. The factory book pairs the EX with an Intelligent Variable Transmission. No three-pedal row.

No clutch in the book
This is the clutch graf, and Kia printed the opposite of a stick. The official 2026 K4 Hatchback specifications list an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) with a torque-converter clutch on EX and GT-Line. GT-Line Turbo gets an 8-speed automatic, also torque-converter. The sheet does not list a manual gearbox on any hatch trim. If you want three pedals in a compact Kia, this hatch is not that car.

The official number board
Kia’s Dec. 18, 2025 kit puts MSRPs (excluding the $1,245 destination charge) at:
- K4 Hatchback EX: $24,990
- K4 Hatchback GT-Line: $25,990
- K4 Hatchback GT-Line Turbo: $28,890
EX and GT-Line use a 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder rated at 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft, tied to the IVT and front-wheel drive. GT-Line Turbo steps up to a 1.6-liter turbo four at 190 horsepower and 195 lb-ft through the 8-speed automatic. Official EPA estimates: 28 city / 34 highway / 30 combined for EX and GT-Line; 26 / 33 / 28 for GT-Line Turbo. Cargo is listed at 22.2 cubic feet behind the rear seats, expanding to 59.3 with the seats folded. Kia said the hatch was expected at retailers in early 2026.

Hatch shape, sedan tech
The kit frames the hatch as the athletic counterpart to the K4 sedan, with a floating roof, vertical LED lighting, and hidden rear door handles in the C-pillar. EX rides on 17-inch alloys and a coupled torsion-beam rear axle. GT-Line and GT-Line Turbo move to 18-inch wheels, multi-link rear suspension, and sport-tuned hardware, with paddle shifters on those two trims. Dual digital displays, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless phone charger, and heated SynTex front seats are called out as standard across the hatch lineup. Kia also lists 16 standard ADAS features, including Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist and Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go.

Related Autogonzo: the 2027 Kia EV3 starts at $29,890 on its own official sheet. The K4 Hatchback’s door is cheaper, but the factory still left the clutch off the page.
