Both grades keep the clutch

This is the clutch graf, and Toyota printed it on the trim cards. GR86 and GR86 Premium each list a 6-speed manual or automatic with Dynamic Rev Management and paddle shifters. The June 1, 2026 factory notice at pressroom.toyota.com said the same thing before the sticker arrived: both grades, clutch or auto. The lighter car is the manual. Toyota listed curb weight at 2,811 pounds for the base manual and 2,851 for the automatic.

Heated Ultrasuede-and-leather sport seats and an eight-speaker audio system land on that grade too. The June kit added Thunder as a new exterior color and Cockpit Red as a Premium interior option. That is the 2027 Toyota GR86 as Toyota published it at toyota.com/vehicles/gr86/2027, with the clutch language matching the June pressroom kit. Autogonzo covered the unveil when the sticker was blank; see Toyota Lit the 2027 GR86 to 228 hp. The twin is priced too: Subaru’s 2027 BRZ Limited starts at $36,140 with a six-speed standard.
