Caterham prices the Seven 360S from £38,490 including VAT in the UK. That’s the complete-kit figure on Caterham’s 2026 UK S Range price list (V2.1), and it’s the number at the top of the car’s official model page. For that you get a 180 bhp, naturally aspirated 2.0-litre Ford Duratec, about 560 kg to push, and one gearbox: a five-speed manual.

The clutch: a five-speed manual, standard and only
The Seven 360 specification lists the transmission as a “5-speed manual gearbox,” and both equipment packs on the page say the same thing. The optional transmission section adds a limited-slip differential and a lightweight flywheel, not a different gearbox. The S Range price list marks the five-speed as standard on the 360S and prices the LSD at £1,500. On the R Range list, the 360R keeps the five-speed manual and makes the LSD standard. The only Seven on that list with a six-speed sequential is the 620R. The 360’s peak power arrives at 7,300 rpm and peak torque at 6,100 rpm, so this is an engine you work with the lever, and Caterham gives you no other way to do it.

Kit price, factory price
The £38,490 buys the complete kit, which means you do the building. If you’d rather Caterham did it, the factory-build line adds £2,595. The model page’s finance example arrives at the same total: £41,085 on the road for a factory-built car, or £259 a month over 36 months at 7.9% APR with a £9,850 deposit and a £29,068 final payment. That puts the 360 right in the middle of the range. On the same S Range list, the 170S starts at £29,490, the 420S at £41,990 and the factory-built 620S at £58,490.

Where the 360 sits
Caterham pitches the 360 as the step from finesse to muscle, and the numbers back it up. Compared with the Seven 170S, it more than doubles the power (180 bhp against 84), trades the live axle for a de Dion rear, and cuts the quoted sprint to 4.8 seconds. It still comes with 14-inch Classic alloys, road suspension, a heater, a full windscreen and hood, and leather seats as standard. The R pack adds sports suspension, the uprated brake master cylinder and the standard LSD for £1,000 more.

So it’s £38,490 for 560 kg, 180 naturally aspirated horsepower and a five-speed manual as the only gearbox. If you want even more, Autogonzo covered the £48,995 Seven 420 Nürburgring Edition. If you want a roof that goes up in seconds, there’s the $34,230 MX-5 Club.
