Ineos Priced the Trialmaster X at $85,995 and Called It the Best Grenadier

Ineos Automotive put a number on the flagship Grenadier. The May 12, 2026 Trialmaster X release prices the Station Wagon at $85,995 MSRP. The Quartermaster pick-up is $91,395. That is Ineos’s own U.S. sheet, not a magazine guess. Britain is £75,195 and £75,010. They still sell a ladder-frame 4×4 with a BMW straight-six. They just loaded it, killed the options list, and called it the most capable Grenadier they build.

Trialmaster hardware. Fieldmaster cabin.

The X is not a new truck. It is the rugged Trialmaster kit welded to the Fieldmaster’s nicer interior and sold as one spec. Front and rear locking differentials. BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3s on 17-inch alloys. Raised air intake. High-load electrical prep. Safari windows, privacy glass, lockable spare-wheel box. Inside: black or grey/black leather, heated fronts, a premium sound system, carpet mats. Scottish White is the free color. Devil Red, Magic Mushroom, and Donny Grey are the other three. Contrast roof in Inky Black or Scottish White costs extra.

America’s price list only lists the BMW 3.0-liter turbo petrol straight-six. Britain’s April 2026 sheet prices that petrol and the BMW 3.0-liter twin-turbo diesel at the same OTR. Ineos did not publish horsepower in the Trialmaster X kit. We are not inventing it.

$85,995 here. £75,195 there.

The official U.S. press PDF prices the Station Wagon at $85,995 and the pick-up at $91,395. Ineos says that MSRP excludes destination, taxes, and dealer add-ons. The U.K. retail list, April 2026, is £75,195 for the wagon and £75,010 for the Quartermaster, petrol or diesel. The 5.5-tonne integrated winch is not in the base. U.S. sheet: $3,905. U.K.: £3,120. Contrast roof is $2,450 on the wagon here, £1,950 there.

January’s 2026 work is still the truck underneath. New variable-ratio steering box. Turning circle cut by about five percent. Better climate kit. A one-touch mute for the compulsory Intelligent Speed Assist beep. Black Edition opened at £71,995. Regular Trialmaster and Fieldmaster held at £69,995. Then they stacked this one on top.

Ineos priced the top Grenadier and stopped making you tick boxes. BMW six. Ladder frame. Locks. KO3s. Leather. $85,995 is the U.S. number they published. It is not a Defender with a different badge. It is the same stubborn truck, loaded.
