Nissan Priced the 2027 Z Sport at $44,480 and Kept the Clutch

Nissan priced the 2027 Z Sport at $44,480. That is the starting MSRP on Nissan’s official 2027 Z pricing release. Destination and handling is $1,325. Tax, title, and license are extra. The factory book lists a six-speed manual or a nine-speed automatic at the same MSRP on Sport, Performance, and NISMO.

Six-speed across the board. Same price as the automatic.

This is the clutch graf, and Nissan printed it on every grade. Sport and Performance still ship with a six-speed close-ratio manual and an EXEDY high-performance clutch as standard, with the nine-speed automatic optional for the same sticker. The 2027 headline: Z NISMO finally gets that six-speed too. Nissan priced NISMO at $67,260 either way, with a short-throw shifter and an upgraded clutch built for the NISMO’s 420 horsepower and 384 lb-ft. There is no price difference between 6MT and 9AT on any row in the official table.

The official number board

Nissan’s July 21, 2026 pricing sheet puts MSRPs (excluding the $1,325 destination charge) at:

  • Z Sport 6MT or 9AT: $44,480
  • Z Performance 6MT or 9AT: $54,480
  • Z NISMO 6MT or 9AT: $67,260

The 2027 Nissan Z press kit specs sheet lists a twin-turbo 3.0-liter VR30DDTT V6 at 400 horsepower and 350 lb-ft for Sport and Performance, and 420 horsepower and 384 lb-ft for NISMO. Drive is rear-wheel. Official EPA for Sport MT is 18 city / 24 highway / 20 combined; NISMO MT is 16 / 21 / 18. Nissan said the refreshed Z reaches dealerships in summer 2026.

NISMO clutch, GT-R brakes, heritage face

The kit says the NISMO six-speed is not a cut-and-paste of the Sport/Performance box. It gets an upgraded clutch and pressure plate for the extra torque, a shorter shift stroke, and manual-specific throttle and ignition tuning. All 2027 NISMO models also pick up two-piece iron-aluminum front brake rotors derived from the GT-R, cutting 19 pounds of unsprung weight. Sport and Performance get a heritage-inspired front with a body-color bar through the grille and a Z emblem on the nose instead of the Nissan logo, plus new Shinkai Green Pearl Metallic paint. Performance adds larger-diameter monotube shocks and an optional tan interior.

$44,480 for the Sport before destination. Six-speed or nine-speed for the same MSRP on every grade, including the $67,260 NISMO. Destination is $1,325. That is the 2027 Nissan Z as Nissan published it at usa.nissannews.com, with matching specs in the 2027 Z press kit. If you want three pedals in a Z — including the NISMO — the factory book finally prints the clutch on every line.
