Porsche Priced the 2027 911 Carrera S Manual at $167,100 and Brought Back the Clutch

Porsche priced the 2027 911 Carrera S with MT Package at $167,100 for the coupe. That is the starting MSRP on Porsche’s official North America Newsroom release. The Cabriolet is $181,000. Delivery, processing, and handling is $2,350. Tax, title, and license are extra. The factory book puts a six-speed manual in this North America-only package. No PDK on this line.

The clutch is back in the Carrera S book

This is the clutch graf, and Porsche printed it for North America. The 992.2 Carrera S had gone eight-speed PDK only. The new Carrera S with MT Package brings back a six-speed manual shared with the Carrera T, rear-wheel drive only, coupe or Cabriolet. Porsche’s kit says the package is exclusive to North America and adds an elevated standard list built around analog driving and less weight. A walnut shift handle is standard. So is an MT console badge. Center-lock wheels — first time on a Carrera S — cut more than 17 pounds versus the standard Carrera S wheels. Puddle lights can cast a six-speed shift pattern. Porsche Cars North America president Timo Resch put it plainly in the release: managing a clutch and shift lever isn’t for everyone, but for the drivers who want it there really is no substitute.

The official number board

Power is the 473-hp 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six. Coupe curb weight with the MT Package is listed at 3,327 pounds — only 11 pounds above the Carrera T coupe. Standard brakes are cast-iron discs, 408 mm front and 380 mm rear, with six-piston front and four-piston rear fixed calipers. PCCB and carbon-fiber buckets are optional. Orders opened through Porsche Centers with deliveries expected by the end of 2026.

What the MT Package piles on

Beyond the six-speed, the kit stacks rear-axle steering, PASM Sport suspension lowered 10 mm, Sport Chrono, unique exhaust tuning with titanium outlets and black trim, four-way Sport Seats Plus, SportDesign front fascia, and a red “S” on the rear. Porsche now counts seven North American 911 variants with a conventional manual: Carrera T coupe and Cabriolet, this Carrera S with MT Package in both body styles, GT3, GT3 Touring, and GT3 S/C.
