Jeep priced the 2026 Gladiator from $39,820. That is the starting MSRP on Jeep’s official Gladiator page, and it excludes the $1,995 destination charge Jeep lists in its Gladiator pricing releases. Tax, title, and registration are extra. The factory book pairs the only engine, a 3.6-liter V-6, exclusively with an eight-speed automatic. No trim gets a clutch.

The clutch graf, and Jeep printed an automatic
This is the clutch graf, and the official book is blunt. Jeep’s 2026 Gladiator press kit, dated Nov. 20, 2025, lists one powertrain: “3.6-liter V-6 engine: 285 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque, paired exclusively with eight-speed automatic transmission.” The 2025 kit said the same thing a year earlier: “Exclusively equipped with standard eight-speed automatic transmission.” It used to read differently. Jeep’s 2024 Gladiator kit said, “For off-road enthusiasts who love a manual transmission, a six-speed manual transmission is standard and an eight-speed automatic transmission is optional.” That six-speed gave the Rubicon an 84:1 crawl ratio. The automatic gave it 77:1. The 2026 kit lists a maximum crawl ratio of “up to 77:1.” Jeep’s consumer capability page still says the Rubicon’s Rock-Trac system offers a “Best-in-Class available 84:1 crawl ratio,” which is the number Jeep’s own 2024 kit tied to the stick.

Special editions, same gearbox
Jeep keeps dressing the Gladiator up. The kit’s 2026 lineup runs Sport, Sport S, Willys, Mojave, and Rubicon, and Jeep added a Sahara in December with body-color flares, a body-color three-piece hardtop, 18-inch wheels, and leather-trimmed heated seats. The Willys ’41 buzz model nods to the Kaiser Jeep M715 military truck with Olive Drab 17-inch wheels, steel bumpers, a Mopar triple-hoop grille guard, and mud-terrain tires. For 2027, Jeep’s June 12 release adds a Gladiator Sarge special edition based on the Willys and Rubicon, priced $500 over a comparably equipped truck. None of those releases adds a clutch pedal.

Where the three pedals went
The same 3.6-liter V-6 still comes with a six-speed manual in the Wrangler. Jeep prints it as standard on Sport, Sport S, Willys, Rubicon, and Rubicon X, and Autogonzo covered that in Jeep Priced the 2026 Wrangler at $36,035 and Kept the Clutch. If you need a bed and a clutch, Toyota still prints a six-speed in the midsize Tacoma, as in Toyota Priced the 2026 Tacoma TRD Off-Road Manual at $42,515 and Kept the Clutch.

$39,820 before destination for an open-air V-6 pickup with a 7,700-pound tow rating. Two pedals on every trim. That is the 2026 Gladiator as Jeep published it at media.stellantisnorthamerica.com and jeep.com.
