Škoda Priced the Fabia Monte Carlo Edition at £24,475 and Kept the Clutch

Škoda UK’s latest Fabia price list, effective 1 October 2026, starts the sporty-looking Fabia Monte Carlo Edition at £24,475 recommended on the road. That price buys the 1.0 TSI 116 PS with a six-speed manual. The automatic costs more and is slower to 62 mph.

The clutch: the six-speed manual is the cheapest and quickest 116 PS Monte Carlo

The official Fabia brochure and price list shows two versions of the 1.0 TSI 116 PS Monte Carlo Edition. The six-speed manual is £24,475 OTR. The seven-speed DSG is £25,425, which makes the manual £950 cheaper. Škoda also lists the manual as quicker, at 9.3 seconds to 62 mph against 9.7 seconds for the DSG. Monte Carlo trim includes aluminium pedals and a leather gearshift knob, so the parts you touch when you shift get the sporty treatment too. The manual stops at 116 PS, though. The 1.5 TSI 150 PS Monte Carlo (£27,140) and the 177 PS Fabia 130 (£30,010) are DSG only. Škoda’s Fabia FAQ says every Fabia trim except the 130 is available as a manual or an automatic.

Why the Fabia Monte Carlo manual matters

The Monte Carlo is the Fabia trim that looks the sportiest. It gets sport bumpers, black styling, full LED headlights with cornering fogs, front sports seats, a three-spoke leather sports wheel with red stitching, and red metallic décor against carbon-effect trim. Plenty of small hatches with that kind of styling now come as automatics only. In the UK, Škoda makes the three-pedal version the cheapest way into this trim, and its own figures say it’s also the quicker one. If you want a small car that looks sporty and still lets you shift for yourself, this is one of the few left that is priced to make the manual the easy choice.
