Toyota Priced the 2026 GR Corolla at $39,920 and Kept the Clutch

Toyota priced the 2026 GR Corolla from $39,920. That is the Base MT MSRP in Toyota’s official GR Corolla press kit. The same kit says MSRP excludes a Dealer Processing and Handling fee of $1,195. The factory still prints a six-speed Intelligent Manual Transmission with rev-matching, and it also offers an eight-speed GAZOO Racing Direct Automatic Transmission.

The clutch is still in the GR Corolla book

This is the clutch graf, and Toyota printed it clearly. On the pressroom kit, Toyota says the GR Corolla is available with either an eight-speed GAZOO Racing Direct Automatic Transmission (DAT) or a six-speed Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT). The six-speed iMT, Toyota wrote, “offers drivers the thrill of manual shifting while incorporating sophisticated rev-matching technology” that automatically adjusts engine RPM on downshifts. The Base MT is the cheaper ticket: $39,920 versus $41,920 for Base AT. Premium Plus follows the same pattern — $45,965 MT versus $47,965 AT. All four figures exclude the $1,195 D&H fee.

Why this one still matters

Most hot hatches dropped the third pedal. Toyota kept it on the regular GR Corolla and made the stick the lower MSRP on both grades. That is the same Gazoo habit that keeps the limited 2026 GRMN Corolla interesting — clutch only, no DAT — and the same factory book that still prints a manual on the 2026 GR Supra and the 2027 GR86. For 2026 the GR Corolla remains one of the easiest places in the Toyota USA book to order three pedals without hunting a special edition.
