Subaru’s official 2026 BRZ pricing table puts the BRZ Series.Yellow at $39,360, plus $1,195 destination and delivery in most states. That’s $1,000 more than the BRZ tS it’s based on. The table lists one transmission for it, the six-speed manual, and Subaru is building only 350, all painted Sunrise Yellow.

The clutch: manual only, rear-wheel drive
Subaru said it up front. The September 2025 launch release says both Series.Yellow cars are “offered exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission,” and the 2026 BRZ pricing release repeats it: production is limited to 350 units, “available exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission.” On the BRZ, that’s a six-speed close-ratio manual sending 228 horsepower from the naturally aspirated 2.4-liter boxer to the rear wheels through a TORSEN limited-slip differential. The only automatic in the 2026 lineup is the six-speed unit on the BRZ Limited, an $850 option. Subaru also fits EyeSight to manual BRZs, so the three-pedal car still gets adaptive cruise control and pre-collision braking.

What the extra $1,000 buys
Under the paint, it’s a tS. Subaru says the Series.Yellow shares the tS suspension and performance hardware, so the STI-tuned Hitachi dampers and Brembo brakes carry over. The money goes to the look. Sunrise Yellow is a color Subaru used on the first-generation XV Crosstrek and the Japan-only BRZ STI Sport and WRX STI S207, and here it comes with matte black 18-inch wheels and black badges on the grille and decklid. Inside, the Ultrasuede seats get leather bolsters and yellow stitching, and the yellow thread continues onto the steering wheel, shift boot, parking brake boot, and door panels.
